About me

Mariana Leone is a NYC-based actor/singer available for Film, TV, Theatre, Musical Theatre, and Commercial work.

Mariana Leone is a NYC-based actor living in Brooklyn (Clinton Hill, specifically). She got her BA at Northwestern University in Theatre and Political Science as well as a certificate in Musical Theatre performance. She started performing when she was about 8 years old after her science teacher noted on her report card that “Mariana loves to twirl.” This is definitely still true.

Growing up, Mariana got to play some iconic roles like Marian Paroo in The Music Man, Celia in As You Like it, The Baker’s Wife in Into the Woods and more. She also had the privelege to study classical voice and acting with some incredible teachers, setting her up for success. She graduated from The Baldwin School in Bryn Mawr, PA in 2018 and set out for the midwest.

At Northwestern some favorite credits include Nancy Nostradamus in the the main stage production of Something Rotten!, Claire in Art’s Alliance’s production of Ordinary Days, Anna/Fresh in the main stage devised film project Re: [CLICK], Arran in the Jewish Theatre Ensemble’s production of Islander, and so many more. She feels lucky to have been educated in the midst of the Chicago theatre community and misses the lake very much.

Since moving to NYC she’s been a part of a some great projects, including leading her first feature and making her Off-Broadway debut. Check out her resume for more details on her recent work.

Mariana also works remotely as the Communications Project Manager for the nonprofit PR agency Bird Hill PR, because her other great passion is service-driven work.
